Vila Sol

Donald Steel designed the 18 hole course called Vila Sol. Widely regarded as one of the best Algarve facilities, an additional 9 hole layout after the 1992 and 1993 Portuguese Opens were held here has only improved the rating of this scenic facility. Large, fast greens and a wide variety of strategically placed trees make this an exciting and visually pleasing course, which many consider to be one of Steel’s finest achievements.

Vila Sol requires reservations. Handicap limits are set at 36 for women and 28 for men. The facility includes driving, putting and chipping areas, carts, club rental, restaurant and bar, pro shop and golf lessons.
